My Yarn:  MALABRIGO worsted
100% Merino
My color:  Simply Taupe
Two skeins made a 61" scarf
My Notes:

This is a super easy cabled scarf.
Great for a new knitter who wants
to experience cabling for the first time!

The only "bump in the road"
that I experienced was with regards
to the two skeins of yarn.
Altough the colorways LOOKED IDENTICAL
in the hanks and after wound up into cakes,
they had enough differences that I had to
re-knit the entire first skein (31" worth)
and alternate every two rows with
Skein 1 and 2 for 61".

Like this:

Rows 1,2,5,6:  Skein #1
Rows 3,4,7,8:  Skein #2

I did not carry the yarn up the edges.
That would be too messy.
I tied in the new yarn on the 4th stitch
from the edge of every wrong side row.
This kept my edges neat.
The "transitions" between the
two skeins is virtually invisible!

Yeah!  Something went right!

Beware knitters.  Beware of
kettle-dyed yarns that tell you
that there are no two skeins alike
and no dyelots.  They mean it!

When knitting a garment, you better
take the time to alternate between
2 or 3 skeins for each piece of the garment
if you do not want sleeves that are a
different color than the body, and
a Right Side that is a different color
than the Left Side!  For Real.
