Rainbow Jacket

This was a shower gift for the Muro's baby girl!

I use these little glass toggle-buttons a lot.  I love them!  They blend with everything

and they stay buttoned!  A feature that all mothers love!

Pattern uses the "Fisheman's Rib" which makes it doubly thick. Knit all in one piece almost!

Sorry, it is a vintage pattern, no longer available that I know of.  My copy is a old photocopy from somewhere.  I knit this jacket 2 times for my girl, who is now 30 yrs old.

Yarn is Plymouth's Encore ColorSpun variegated.  Worsted wt. Still available at LYS.

MY NOTES:

This pattern is another easy one!

Knit all in one piece until addition of sleeves.

It knits fast!  It is thick and snuggly!

An old favorite of mine!

It is a uni-sex jacket.

Switch the buttons to the other side

and choose a different color for a boy!

My girlfriend knit this jacket twice for

her baby boy!  Blue and Dark Green!
